Acne Scar

➭ Acne Scar

When a deep pimple or other acne breakout clears, a scar can develop. Scars that form after acne clears are called acne scars. Not every acne breakout causes a scar. Acne is the most common skin condition in the world. About 80% of people between the ages of 11 and 30 will have it. Teenagers get acne thanks to their changing hormones. Adults have stress, the environment, menstrual cycles, oil-based products and birth control pills to blame, although hormones can still play a role.

Acne scars are stubborn, and no single treatment is best for everyone. One or a combination of the following approaches might improve the appearance of your skin, depending on your scar type, your skin type and the severity of the scarring.

Burn Scar

➭ Burn Scar

When you are burned, severity is measured in degrees and based on how long you were in contact with the burn source and how big the burn is. Treatment may improve the look of some burns. Burns that only affect the outer layers of the skin heals with pigmentation changes. When the dermal layers of the skin are damaged, the underlying skin heals up with a thick layer of scar tissue. Early treatment speed up the recovery of burnt skin.

Fractional CO2 laser therapy, a non-invasive burn scar treatment, breaks down scar tissue to reveal softer and smoother skin along with an increased range of motion. This helps restore the skin’s function, reduces pain, and improves the cosmetic appearance for injured patients. The healing process is much faster than with surgical scar revision and enables patients to return to their normal activities within days.

Derma roller

➭ Derma Roller

Derma rollers are used for a treatment process called micro-needling or skin needling. It is a form of collagen induction therapy. The actual derma roller is made up of a small, solid wheel attached to a little stick that propels it backwards and forwards across your face in small sections. The roller is covered with hundreds of minuscule ‘micro-medical’ needles that penetrate the skin, creating lots of tiny micro injuries. Your skin responds by producing extra collagen to ‘heal’ the punctures, and that’s what plumps up the skin again and enhances the natural blood supply – so you get a natural ‘glow’. Depressed acne scars, wrinkles, skin texture and tightness are all improved as a result.

Derma Roller Treats Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Anti – Ageing / Skin Tightening, Acne Scars/ Pitted Scars, Open Pores / Skin Texture improvement, Stretch Marks. When the dermaroller is rolled over the skin, the small, fine needles on the roller puncture the skin. The holes that the needles create in the skin are tiny and considered to be superficial. For this reason, the treatment is not seen as invasive. When the skin is punctured, this creates a controlled skin injury. It does not cause actual damage to the outer layer of skin. The needles help to break down any scar tissue.
